Join the Centre
The Centre is building a community of members around the question it works on: when algorithms shape financial decisions, what does the evidence justify? In the first phase we are inviting colleagues from the Ulster University Business School Finance Group whose interests connect to that work.
How it works
- You receive an invitation from the Director.
- You complete a short membership form: a couple of lines about yourself, which of the Centre’s strands you align to (or would like to develop), and a link or two.
- We add you as a member; your entry appears on the People page.
Membership is voluntary. You can update or withdraw your entry at any time.
The strands to align to
The strands are at different stages. Joining a developing or emerging strand is as welcome as joining the established one; those are the places where colleagues can most readily shape the programme.
- Financial crime and anti-money-laundering systems (established)
- Corporate innovation and financial disclosure (developing)
- Investment decisions and portfolio construction (emerging)
Do not feel boxed in if your interests sit a little to the side of these labels. Say where the connection is.
What we ask for
Name and title, a one-line tagline, your strands, the areas you work in and would like to develop, a 60-100 word bio, a photo, and links (Pure, Google Scholar, website). The membership form makes this quick.
By joining, you consent to your name, photo and bio appearing on this site. You can change or remove your entry at any time by contacting the Director.
